Together, we work to ensure that your education is of the highest quality, that you have a safe and inspiring study environment, and that you have opportunities to build a rich and social life outside of your studies.

Management team
Management team are the ones who manage the operational work in Luleå Studentkår. They are paid full-time and are elected by the union council for the financial year. The positions in Luleå Studentkår management group are Union President, Vice President, Project Manager with student social responsibility, Project Manager for the job market and Chief Student Protection Representative. The management team is located at Luleå Studentkår office in the students’ house and is available 09:00-16:00 Monday to Friday.

Olivia Vikström, Union President
Hello! My name is Olivia Vikström, and I am the president of Luleå Studentkår 25/26. As the president, I educate and lead the student union organisation and activity. This means being responsible for the student union team, the union board and the union council and being the main contact between them. I am also the one representing the student union for the external parties, such as for business life, municipality and the media.
Jasmijn Seuren, Vice President
Hello! My name is Jasmijn Seruen and I am the Vice President of Luleå Studentkår 25/26. I work alongside the President with budget, personal support and strategic decisions. I participate in union board and union council. I have responsibility for the intern work of the student union. I work with organisational questions, work environment responsibility and the accounting of Kårken (the pub of the student unions). I represent the student union in work environment questions.
Felicia Holmqvist, Project manager, Student social
Hello! My name is Felicia Holmqvist and I work as the Project Manager with Student Social Responsibility 25/26. I mainly work with developing our students’ interests when it comes to the student life, study environment and the student welfare at LTU. I coordinate associations under Luleå Studentkår. The two main projects of mine is Nolleperioden and Islossningen.
Elin Björk, Project manager, Job market
Hello! My name is Elin Björk. I am the Project manager with Job Market Responsibility 25/26. My main responsibility is to create value for our members through contacts with the working life. I create events with regional companies to give our members a good relationship with the labor market. I am also responsible for the communication tools and graphic profile at the student union. I am responsible for Luleå Studentkår’s social media
Alexander Ivkovic, Chief education officer
Hello! My name is Alexander Ivkovic! I am the head education officer 25/26. My main area is to ensure the study environments maintain their standard. I am also the students voice in the campus restructuring. I am the contact between the equal treatment committee and Luleå Studentkår. I am also involved in planning the light week and the winter festival here on LTU.
Union Board
The union board is the body that convenes and decides what and how the union must work within the framework stipulated by the union representative. The board usually convenes approximately once a month. The board consists of the Union President and vice President of the management team, who are paid full-time. All 4 student section Presidents and two people who are elected directly by the union council are also represented on the board, which means that the board consists of 8 people.
Union Counsil
Union Counsil (KF) is Luleå Studentkårs highest decision-making body. This is where the budget, operating plan and statutes are decided and where the board and the management team report what they have worked on and are working on. The council consists of 31 members and is divided between the 4 student sections in terms of their size. All members of the Luleå Studentkår may be present during the union council, but only the members may vote during the meetings. KF usually meets approximately 2 times per semester. The meetings are chaired by a chairman.
